Powdered Donut Hole

tracing childlike flowers with diamonds
nap time flows with unicorns and clowns
silent tricycles with torn ribbons
beyond the gate freedom will come
with a bag of donut holes
one bite to remember two bites to forget
powder spilled ringing the doorbell
